What is NEPSE paper trading?
Paper trading means practising buying and selling shares with pretend money at real market prices. On NEPSE Demo Trading you trade Nepal Stock Exchange stocks with virtual money, so you can learn how orders, gains and losses work without risking a rupee.
Is any real money involved?
No. Everything is virtual. You cannot deposit, withdraw or lose real money, and nothing real is bought or sold.
Are the prices real?
Yes. Trades use live prices from the Nepal Stock Exchange, although data can occasionally be delayed. The prices shown on this website refresh about every 15 minutes.
Does it cost anything?
No. NEPSE Demo Trading is free, and you do not need a card to sign up.
How much virtual money do I start with?
You choose when you sign up, anywhere from NPR 10,000 up to NPR 1 Crore.
Can I practise when the market is closed?
NEPSE trades Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 15:00 Nepal time. Outside those hours you can still browse the market, research stocks and place an after-market order, which is queued.
Is this investment advice?
No. NEPSE Demo Trading is for education only. Results with virtual money do not predict results with real money, and real trading carries real risk.
Which devices does it work on?
Any web browser on a phone or computer, and there is an Android app on Google Play.
